LOCAL sportspeople have been shivering and sloshing their way around sports fields, but for farmers it’s been a “back to the good old days” cold, wet winter.
While it hasn’t been an overly wet year, consistent rain has the agricultural season poised to give farmers an ideal bounce-back from last year’s devastatingly poor finish.
